Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible nurse practitioner.
• Hospitalist experience preferred; Hospitalist training required

Flexible Scheduling:

• Flexible scheduling is available. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
• Shifts for the day position are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• As a day clinician in the observation unit, your responsibility will encompass admitting, rounding, and discharging patients.
• The observation unit is very fast-paced, and we are looking for individuals who can handle an ever-changing environment.
• Our hospitalist team is pivotal in the rapid response team, and the intensivist team manages codes. All team members are certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. There are no procedural requirements.
• We hold weekly huddles and monthly team meetings, in addition to lunch-and-learn sessions, to stay current on the latest medical developments at the hospital and with Sound.
• We work in Meditech Expand, a web-based system with access to our internal informatics platform.
• We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.

Rewards and Benefits:

• Compensation: Base salary is $130,000 to $140,000 based on experience, along with opportunities for bonuses based on performance and growth.
