Gastroenterology Physician

This locum position offers an opportunity to provide general gastroenterology coverage within an inpatient setting from April to November. The facility is well-supported by trained hospital staff, with a focus on delivering high-quality care to patients. • Provide inpatient general gastroenterology coverage.
• Conduct consultations and procedural privileges as needed.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in on-call duties as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation in the EMR system (EPIC).

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED).
• Completion of a GI Fellowship (REQUIRED).
• Iowa medical license or IMLC (must be in hand) (REQUIRED).
• Availability during specified locum dates (REQUIRED).

• Iowa medical license or IMLC.
• Current Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
• Addition of relevant certifications such as DEA, BLS, ACLS preferred.
