Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician Assistant for a locum tenens position at a Multi-Specialty Clinic in California. This 120-day assignment starts on 05/05/2025, with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with outpatient primary care and chronic care panel management in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting. Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages

• Manage a panel of patients with various chronic conditions

• Conduct routine check-ups, screenings, and preventive care visits

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers

• Educate patients on disease prevention and health maintenance

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EHR system

• Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and FQHC guidelines

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and care coordination efforts

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in family medicine

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in California

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system preferred
