    Job Requirements
  • All RNs must have BLS, ACLS completed prior to end of orientation.
  • Preferred: RNs with ICU/Stepdown experience.
  • Preferred: Staff with 1 year med/surg experience.
    Schedule Information
  • Weekend rotation, 3 Monday and Friday per 6 week scheduling.
  • Holidays per staffing matrix.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Acute Care utilizes a Team-Based Care model. All care providers, from MDs, nurses, case management, pharmacist and PT/OT meet daily to discuss patient/care/treatments and discharge needs.

  • Unit Information: Acute Care Unit
  • Number of Beds - 30
  • Number of Staff - 40+
  • Patient Ratios - SD/ICU 2-4:1; Med-Surg: 5-6:1
  • Type of equipment - IV pumps, SCDs, Nova Stat glucometer, wound vac, Baxter feeding pump, Lift equipment as appropriate, Pyxis (nurses only)
  • EMR - Cerner
