About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Institutional Advancement and College Foundation. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing a strategic fundraising program to meet the foundation's financial goals. This includes managing a portfolio of major gift donors, cultivating relationships with corporate partners, and ensuring proper stewardship of all contributions. The role also involves collaborating with the Board of Directors and College President to set and achieve fundraising objectives, overseeing the foundation's financial operations, and leading a team of development professionals. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years' of relevant development experience, with a preference for those who have worked in higher education. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of securing 6+ figure gifts, experience in managing a team, and be a stellar team player and mentor. Knowledge of grant processes, experience with capital campaigns, and CFRE certification are all beneficial. The role requires excellent leadership skills, the ability to serve as a frontline fundraiser, and a commitment to the values of the institution.
