Position Summary |
POSTING FOR UNMC EMPLOYEES ONLY Plan, implement and evaluate activity therapy and social skills programs for children, youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities which are both center and community based. The scope of the department includes (but is not limited to) swimming and aquatic therapies, adapted sports/games, art, music, dance, horticulture therapies, cooking, activities of daily living, as well as a wide variety of community based social recreation outings and field trips. |

Ability to work with persons who are medically fragile and possess multiple physical/sensory limitations Ability to supervise recreation technicians and volunteers through instruction and example |
