This Nutrition Technician will have mentoring opportunities to work directly with Nutrition Therapists to improve patient outcomes. This is a unique position to interact with patients and an interdisciplinary team at the highest acuity setting in Nebraska.

Duties: Nutrition Technician
Perform nutrition care services for patients under the supervision of the Nutrition Therapist. Manage the enteral tube feeding operation, including inventory, order processing, delivery, retrieval and patient billing.
Required Qualifications: Nutrition Technician
* High school diploma required.
* Communication skills (written and verbal; individual and group interaction) required.
* Organizational skills (ability to multi-task; attention to detail; time management) required.
* Customer service skills required.
* Problem solving skills required.
* Math skills required.
* Computer experience (Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; email; intranet/internet navigation) required.
Preferred Qualifications: Nutrition Technician
* Enrollment in or completion of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in nutrition and dietetics preferred.
* Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration preferred.
