Position Highlights:
Nebraska Medicine is seeking a talented individual to join us as a Mammography Technologist. This role will be great for someone that has a passion for mammography and great customer service for our patients we serve. This specific position will work at our main campus in Omaha, NE.

Suspicious lumps
Breast pain
Fibrocystic disease
Risk analysis
Breast cancer diagnosis or second opinion services
Cosmetic and reconstructive surgery
Mammography and women's imaging (including 3D/digital mammography, ultrasound, bone density screening, biopsies, MRI, needle localizations)
Shift:
Full time, 80 hours each pay period
Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00 First Shift

Mammography Technologist Duties:
Provide excellent diagnostic and mammography images and patient care to assure a high level of quality care and service to patients and customers in the radiology department.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in radiology required.
Minimum of 40 hours of mammography training required.
Minimum of five mammography continuing education units (CEUs) per year required to meet Mammography Quality Standards Assurance Act requirements.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
State of Nebraska license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon completion of unit orientation required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).
Mammography certification from ARRT required within one year of hire or transfer date required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Digital mammography training preferred.
Ability to manage and interact with patients and families of all age groups preferred.
Experience with multi-dimensional medical imaging systems, medication infusion pumps, vacuum pumps, oxygen bottle, patient transportation device, film processors, and quality control equipment preferred.
Experience with radiology information system, mammography tracking system, and stereo-tatic breast preferred.
Mammography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
