POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for planning and prioritizing production activities and leading employees to meet customer requirements while providing a safe work environment. This role also establishes and maintains a positive employee relations environment by adherence to Lozierâ??s Mission, Vision, and Core Values. This position clearly communicates expectations and consistently holds self and employees accountable for performance.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Minimum of an Associate degree in related field or equivalent experience required; Bachelor degree in business or technical field preferred.
Experience: 5 years warehouse or manufacturing experience, whichever is applicable. Without a degree, 5 years warehouse or manufacturing experience in which at least 2 years are in a supervisory/lead role. If no lead/supervisory experience, successful completion of the internal leadership training program will fulfill this requirement.
