Creighton Universityâ??s College of Nursing is seeking a 12-month full-time Assistant/Associate Professor faculty position in the College of Nursingâ??s graduate program. Candidates must possess an earned doctorate (PhD, DNP) in nursing or closely related field from an accredited institution.

Faculty responsibilities include teaching online graduate-level courses within the College of Nursing as well as providing guidance, support, and supervision through the completion of the graduate studentsâ?? capstone and scholarly projects. The faculty member collaborates with nursing, and other health science colleagues, in on-going curriculum development. This will include contributing to the continued development and integration of competency-based education (CBE) and AACN essentials in nursing curricula. Other faculty responsibilities include those associated with service and scholarship commensurate with the College of Nursing and university expectations.

Qualifications

The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in graduate-level online teaching experience in nursing education and/or leadership A current unencumbered RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, or eligibility for licensure, is necessary. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate success with competency-based education (CBE) and the integration of AACN essential standards into nursing programs. The candidate must evidence the ability to engage in scholarly activities including research, publication, and professional development. The candidate must exhibit a passion for teaching and mentorship, with a commitment to developing nursing leaders and educators who uphold the values of social justice and compassionate care.
