Maintenance Supervisor - Job Description - Full Time

Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and lead team of maintenance technicians in performing industrial maintenance tasks.
  • Manage and prioritize maintenance requests, ensuring timely completion of work orders.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians, troubleshooting mechanical issues and providing solutions. 
  • Oversee the maintenance of equipment, machinary and facilities. Ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. 
  • Develope and implement preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment. 
  • Collaborate with other depts to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize operational disruption.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections and inventory management.

Skills: 

  • Experienced in troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team of technicians.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of industrial maintenance practices and proceedures. 
  • Mechanical knowledge and understanding of various types of machinary and equipment.
  • Experience in maintenance management, including planning, organizing and prioritizing related tasks. 
  • Familiarity with facilities management principals and practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics and blueprints.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
