Purchasing Agent
In this role YOU will:
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services. • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements. • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, with the approval by the ASC Manager. • Source and select vendors based on factors such as quality costs, reliability, and delivery speed. • Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints. • Monitor inventory levels and anticipate future demand to prevent stockouts and overstock situations. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to forecast procurement needs and plan purchasers accordingly. • Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers related to pricing, quality, or delivery. • Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier information. • Collaborate with the finance department to track and report on procurement expenses and savings. Continuously seek ways to optimize procurement processes and improve efficiency. • Implement and maintain internal procurement system. Utilize Hybrent system to purchase and manage inventory, ensuring that adequate levels of inventory are available for surgery center.
• Hours for this position are Monday through Thursday 7am-4pm and Friday 8am to noon.

Offered Candidates will need to do the following before first day:
• Successfully complete a background check which includes an education verification, and a license verification if applicable. • Successfully complete drug testing.
