The NCS HOPE Foundation is currently seeking a full time Program Coordinator to provide program and office support for all programs administered by NCS HOPE Foundation.

With a mission to improve the lives of cancer patients, their families, and the community, NCS HOPE Foundation envisions a community where every cancer patient gets the services they need to thrive. We accomplish this critical task by providing supporting services and resources to local oncology and hematology patients, families and caregivers.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Processing patient applications and determining assistance;
  • Managing the office to include answering calls, greeting visitors, use of equipment and software, and maintain patient and program expense transactions
  • Maintaining patient and donor correspondence to include mailing lists, thank you letters, reports and other timely written and verbal correspondence
  • Coordinating meetings and communicate with program partners, board members and the community
  • Preparing reports and create relevant documents for meetings
  • Maintaining accurate files and database information for the office and patient assistance
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for program information and patient assistance
  • Acting as coordinator and liaison for patients needing resources within the community
  • Being accessible to the community and patients, and providing timely responses

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher preferred
  • Three years’ nonprofit, program or office management experience preferred
  • Self-starter with strong organizational, planning and time-management skills
  • Team-player with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and recordkeeping
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality, credibility and use professional discretion
  • Ability to represent the Foundation, its events and programs in a positive, professional manner to clients, volunteers, community organizations and the public
  • Self-disciplined and accustomed to working both independently and with others
  • A passionate commitment to the mission and community

 

Special Requirements

  • Must possess a valid State Driver’s License and an operable vehicle.
  • Must pass criminal and background checks.
  • Applicants may be requested to take and pass drug screening.
