SUMMARY: The feed technician assists the warehouse manager in all duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following but not limited to:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or be able to obtain one.
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of customer and personal services, mechanical, administration and management, and computers.
SKILLS
Equipment and maintenance, repairing, troubleshooting, active learning, critical thinking, reading comprehension, active listening, installation, equipment selection and maintenance, time management.
WORK ACTIVITIES
Work activities performed on the job include operating vehicles, mechanized vehicles, or equipment; getting information; updating and using relevant knowledge; documenting and recording information; repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment; inspecting equipment and materials; making decisions and solving problems; and communicating with supervisors, peers and subordinates.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. Vision must be adequate for driving and passing CDL.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to explosives. The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is usually moderate.
