You’ll oversee critical operations, maintain compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This job will report to our Omaha, NE office with a remote option for candidates with donation coordination experience who live in Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop: Mentor and develop the Referral Management team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Oversee Referral Processes: Manage the referral response process, ensuring compliance with ethical standards, regulatory requirements (OPTN, CMS, FDA, CDC), and internal policies.
  • Strategic Scheduling: Create comprehensive schedules to ensure optimal staffing, accommodate new hire training, and balance PTO requests.
  • Drive Corrective Actions: Manage and collaborate on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and Preventive Action Reports (PAR), ensuring effective resolution and monitoring.
  • Policy Development: Develop and update policies to align with regulatory standards and ensure effective communication with all relevant staff.
  • Hiring and Collaboration: Participate in hiring processes for Referral Management Coordinators and foster strong hospital partnerships.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement workflow enhancements, track progress, and introduce innovative technologies to optimize efficiency.
  • Strategic Planning: Analyze staffing needs, support budget development, and ensure resource efficiency for long-term growth.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a healthcare field or 5+ years of Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) experience.
  • Certification by the American Board for Transplant Certification (ABTC) is preferred but not required.
  • Proven track record of strong leadership and team development.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal auto insurance.

The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate is not applicable for geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Live On Nebraska, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $81,100 - $101,429.
