We are looking for an outstanding individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to join our Tissue Services team as a Per Diem Tissue Coordinator. The preferred candidate would have a strong anatomy background with the ability to effectively communicate.

Required to work at least 8 shifts per month.

Shifts are 12 hours (0700 - 1900 or 1900 – 0700) to facilitate the recovery of Tissues.

Job Responsibilities

Help facilitate the recovery of bones, tendons, and other transplantable tissues.
Prepping recovery site for surgical procedure
Surgical recovery of transplantable grafts
Sterile packaging of tissues
Assist with paperwork

Requirements

Experience as a Surgical Tech, LPN, EMT, Nursing, or other health science professional and/or a bachelor’s degree with a focus on Human Anatomy, is preferred.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques is preferred.
Certified Tissue Banking Specialist Certification is a plus.
Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance is required.
