Calibration Technician II

We’re hiring a Calibration Technician II to support our plants and labs by keeping measuring and test equipment accurate and reliable. You’ll handle on-site calibration, manage records, work with outside suppliers, and help with audits. This role is a good fit if you enjoy hands?on technical work, stay organized, and pay close attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

• Perform calibrations and adjustments on equipment
• Update and maintain detailed calibration records that meet ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001 requirements
• Work with approved vendors for external calibrations
• Support audits and help resolve out?of?tolerance issues
• Up to 10 percent travel may be needed.

What You Need

• High school diploma required; technical training preferred
• Two to five years of calibration or metrology experience
• Experience with Gage Pack, Microsoft 365, and basic Power BI reporting
• Strong problem?solving and communication skills

SUMMARY

Calibration Technician II independently performs on-site calibration at various plants and labs, manages assigned equipment, and coordinates external calibration services. This role requires solid technical knowledge, vendor interaction experience, and the ability to support audits and reporting activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently perform on-site calibration, verification, and adjustment of measuring and test equipment.
• Maintain accurate calibration records in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Coordinate external calibration activities with approved suppliers, including scheduling, tracking, and certificate review.
• Identify and document out-of-tolerance conditions and support corrective actions.
• Maintain calibration schedules and asset status in Gage Pack.
• Create routine reports and metrics using Microsoft 365 and Power BI.
• Support internal and external audits related to calibration and measurement systems.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization in a professional, supportive manner.
• Attention to detail and focus on accuracy.

• Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 2–5 years of calibration or metrology experience.
• Demonstrated experience working with calibration suppliers and laboratories.
• Proficiency with Gage Pack, Microsoft 365, and basic Power BI reporting.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Manage self and program towards goal success.
• Communicate in written and verbal means, in person, and in group environments.

TRAVEL

Travel beyond plant locations may be up to 10% of the time. Traveling to each location required by schedule.
