Job Overview:

We are seeking a Sales Representative to drive revenue growth by selling our premium glass products and installation services. This role involves building relationships with homeowners, business owners, and contractors, guiding them through the selection and purchasing process. A successful candidate will be outgoing, goal-driven, and skilled at generating leads while maintaining a professional, welcoming presence in customers’ homes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and engage potential clients through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Educate customers on our products, services, and installation process, providing customized solutions.
Follow up on leads, prepare accurate quotes, and negotiate contracts to close deals efficiently.
Oversee projects from initial consultation to final installation, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Maintain accurate sales records and customer data using CRM software.
Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate scheduling, production, and installation timelines.
Monitor work orders to ensure quality standards and timely project completion.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.
1+ years of experience in sales or customer service (preferably in a client-facing role).
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple accounts effectively.
Goal-driven mindset with a passion for exceeding sales targets.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in in-home sales or direct customer interaction industries, such as solar sales, HVAC, home security systems, pest control, roofing, real estate, or home remodeling services.
Proven ability to consult with homeowners and business owners, guiding them through the purchasing process.
Professional appearance – neatly dressed, well-groomed, and presenting a clean, polished image.
Friendly and approachable demeanor – a welcoming smile and the ability to make customers feel comfortable.
Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build trust quickly and engage with people from all backgrounds.
Confident and respectful presence in customers’ homes – ensuring a sense of safety, professionalism, and credibility.
Comfortable working independently and spending time in the field networking and engaging with potential clients.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
- Use vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
- Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
- Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” and must be able to travel on short notice.
- Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods.
