Medical Scribe Position

Momenta Pain Care is seeking a full-time Medical Scribe to join our team. The Medical Scribe is responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to physicians and clinical staff in order to achieve optimal patient care. The Medical Scribe assists physicians in medical record management, organization and communication.

Our board-certified Pain Specialists are committed to providing a comprehensive and innovative approach to patients who suffer from acute and chronic pain.

Education:

• High School diploma or GED required, college health science study preferred.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must demonstrate proficiency in typing and computer literacy for transcription of medical records.
• Strong communication skills for positive interaction with providers, staff and patients required.
• Must be able to assist with operating an efficient clinic and provide compassionate patient care.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy strongly preferred.
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to learn and proficiently navigate through medical software.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions/directions required.
• Ability to complete all responsibilities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
• Must maintain confidentiality and understanding of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) at all times.
