Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. A successful HR Coordinator will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative human resources tasks to support day-to-day operations across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, benefits administration, and employee engagement. The HR Coordinator works closely with the HR Business Partner and employees to ensure a productive and legally compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including posting job openings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
- Orientation: Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, including documentation, orientation, and training coordination.
- Recruiting Events: Coordinate and attend recruitment events such as job fairs, open houses, and campus recruitment activities.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS), track recruitment metrics, and provide regular updates to the HR Business Partner
- Employer Branding: Promote the company as an employer of choice by creating a positive candidate experience and engaging in employer branding initiatives.
- Employee Engagement: Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and employee benefits.
- Benefit Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, wellness, FMLA, referral bonuses, and other employee perks.
- HR Projects & Initiatives: Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, plant employee events and celebrations, and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or bachelors degree a plus
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), Success Factors knowledge a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience in manufacturing or related industry is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence hiring decisions.
- Proficiency in sourcing candidates via social media, job boards, and other channels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple positions and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze complex problems, evaluate options and make sound decisions.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and legal regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA)
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment with frequent visits to the production floor.
- Occasional travel to recruiting events and the corporate office in Omaha.
