System Administrator:
The System Administrator is responsible for managing both cloud and on-premise infrastructure in Sandhills Global datacenters. This includes configuring, troubleshooting, and monitoring of Windows/UNIX servers and enterprise storage systems. This is a position in a highly collaborative environment working with other skilled professionals to continuously improve datacenter infrastructure, redundancy, and security. Starting pay $81,000, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and maintain server/storage hardware and operating system software
• Install and test upgrades and software patches
• Maintain and support VM environments
• Design and implement backup and recovery policies
• Implements redundant and fault tolerant systems and assumes responsibility for maintaining and carrying out disaster recovery plans
• Research and implement new technologies/strategies
• Create and maintain internal processes/documentation

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Preferred

• BA in Information Systems or IT Systems Management or 2+ years equivalent experience
• Experience in Windows Server, Azure/O365, VMware, Active Directory, and powershell a plus
• Able to be on-call rotation and perform off-hours maintenance
• Ability to travel, valid driver’s license required
