Millard West High School, a proud two-time state champion with a strong tradition of excellence, is seeking an energetic, dynamic, and visionary Head Football Coach to lead our program. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a clear vision and strategic plan for the football program that focuses on development at a high level while representing the Millard West brand.
  • Serve as a leader in the school community, both as a coach and a teacher, promoting academic achievement and school pride.
  • Build strong relationships with feeder schools and youth football programs to ensure sustainability and success into the future.
  • Develop student-athletes to have opportunities at the next level of football as well as in their chosen field of study and in the community.
  • Foster a culture of respect, accountability, and discipline, emphasizing collaboration and personal growth.
  • Actively engage with parents, alumni, and the Millard West community to build enthusiasm and support for the program.
  • Work collaboratively with all other programs in the athletic department to foster a culture of shared excellence and success.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a head coach or coordinator at the high school level is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a comprehensive football program.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to academic excellence, student character development, and community engagement.
  • Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate or ability to obtain one.
