With a strong foundation of community support, dedicated student-athletes, and a legacy of success, we are looking for a leader who can inspire, mentor, and develop young men both on and off the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a clear vision and strategic plan for the football program, fostering success at the state level while prioritizing player development and character growth.
Serve as a leader in the school community, both as a coach and a teacher, promoting academic achievement and school pride.
Build strong relationships with feeder schools and youth football programs to ensure a sustainable and thriving pipeline of talent.
Develop student-athletes not only to compete at the next level of football but also to excel as responsible citizens and future leaders.
Foster a culture of respect, accountability, and discipline, emphasizing teamwork and personal growth.
Actively engage with parents, alumni, and the greater Millard South community to promote enthusiasm and support for the program.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a head coach or coordinator at the high school or college level is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a comprehensive football program.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Commitment to academic excellence, student character development, and community engagement.
Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate or ability to obtain one.
