Entry Level Mechanic

Our client is seeking an Entry Level Mechanic to join their team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about mechanics and eager to learn in a hands-on environment. As an Entry Level Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
Responsibilities

• Check carts daily to verify that they are operating properly and have a clean, neat appearance
• Diagnose mechanical failures and repair all golf carts according to manuals and factory specifications
• Ensure all items under warranty are serviced properly
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Check for proper storage of carts at night and verify the cleanliness of each cart
• Record cart maintenance as completed
• Ensure all safety procedures are implemented and enforced
• Keep necessary departments informed on all maintenance due on carts
• Keep workstation neat and clean
• General repair services as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One to three years’ experience as a mechanic required
• Knowledge of electric and gas-powered golf carts, engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, grinding, welding, and torch experience required 
• Ability to lift/move 50-75 lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, etc. required
