The Clarkson College Undergraduate Nursing Program is seeking an open rank faculty position who is passionate about facilitating student learning through effective teaching strategies grounded in evidence-based practice in education.
Teaching responsibilities include in-person and online course delivery, student mentoring, and service to the community and profession. This position will be clinical faculty for our Med/Surg courses in our Undergraduate Nursing Program.
This position will contribute to the development and improvement of program curriculum and maintain command of discipline by participating in professional growth activities.
The faculty member will demonstrate commitment to the Clarkson College mission and values to support student success.
Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Nursing.
Minimum of two (2) years' medical/surgical experience required.
Strong oral, and written communication skills; possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate as part of a team with diverse constituents required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years' experience as faculty member in higher education preferred.
Step-Down or ICU experience preferred.
